tag #000880 Guys and Dolls

I'm a music teacher and my school does not own musicals, so I am buying every musical I can find on ebay. We are going to stage Guys and Dolls this February and so I really needed this one to show my kids before they stage it. I told the kids I got it today because I keep them aware of my silly ebay adventures (my quirks add to their interest in class) and they all got very excited...woohoo!

tag #000551 Camp Hat

Hey there Brian!
I am the Canadian who purchased your Columbia boy scout hat, and JUST in time for my camping trip! My five year old daughter took my picture.
I will always bring this hat to the French River, where we camp on an island for a week and just FISH and cook all day!
Im so excited! Best of luck to you!

tag #000554 Camelback Golf Hat

Aloha Brian,
I was very touched by your comments of your meeting with your father at Camelback. My son and I spent a wonderful week in Scottsdale and played Camelback, Wildfire and The Phoenican.
After college, he has resided in Los Angeles and is able to visit Honolulu only once a year. Needless to say, it's very precious to me to spend any time with my son.
Your cap will remind me of that wonderful week spent with my son and the great memories we will always share.

tag #000323 Drill

Brian,
I purchased your 6 volt Ryobi cordless drill as a gift for my fiancée. She has seen me using my 18 volt drill kit and said she wish she had something like that she could use around the house. We went looking at various stores trying to find something with drill bits, sockets and screwdriver bits but to no avail. Started looking on ebay, found this model was one of the few that offer all that in one box. I had bid on two before bidding on yours which I obviously won. I was excited, she was going to take a small step into my world.
She has had this for over two months now and to my knowledge not used it once... I asked to use it, (after my 18 volt ran out of juice), and if she had it charged up; she said ..."what"... So to cut to the chase, your Ryobi cordless drill is living the easy life in Marshalltown, Iowa. I'll go back to buying her jewelry again in lieu of power tools, what the hell was I thinking!
A couple of pictures with her new drill, one with her thinking "I can't believe he actually thought I was serious" and one that is obviously "forced", can't say she doesn't try!
Good luck with the rest of your sales,
Mark

Hello!
No, I haven't eaten them yet. I don't know if I will, I rather save the can unopened.
I can send you a picture at half my collection. I have the other half in my closet, cause they don't fit in my room. But I attached a picture at the cans in my room for the moment. Your can isn't in the picture, because the photo isn't that new.

tag #000602 IU sweatshirt

Hey Brian!
Mele Kalikimaka! I hope this christmas finds you well. I received your sweat shirt under the tree...from me..to me.. I love it and thank you. I thought I would send this pic. out to you as soon as possible. I am spreading the word of your venture to all who will listen at all family Christmas functions. So, I hope to have some new bidders on your site. :) I am pretty sure I will be moving across the country soon. I bought this as a fun reminder of the IU game I went to and how much I enjoy that campus! I bet you had a blast. I hope to not have to weather many more winters!

BT,
As promised, here's the pic of one of your youngest fans. Mike uses it to destroy his Thomas the train town, although in one of these pics he is destroying the game of Candyland. He played with it constantly when he got it (for the first two days) and now it is like many of his toys, he plays with it once or twice a week. Thanks again, it really made him light up, it's amazing what brightens their day at this age. Can't wait until they are sixteen and a 10k car still doesn't brighten their day.

tag #000074 Famous Last Words
Brian
Your questions about my purchases were interesting. I am a psychotherapist and began my “word jar” collection several years ago. These are, of course decorative and witty, but I also use them as props for my patients to stimulate thinking in therapy as well as receptacles for things to be discarded, like bad habits or worries or containers for things wished to attain like time, attitude adjustments. So you can see how famous last words would fit nicely into that schema. So in a sense these purchases do define me in that they are part of my work. Good luck with your sales and your thought provoking website.

As I told you during the transaction, the Scooby mobile was a small gift for my stepdaughter. What I didn't tell you is she is 22 years old and collects all things Scooby. Don't ask me to explain why. I still don't understand although I collect unusual brass objects here and there. You asked for a photo and I promised not to embarrass her, so here it is. Good luck with the rest of your sale. I am endeared to you on one point. Material objects don't make the person.
Later. Butch.

Howdy,
I won't wear this for getting too drunk or getting into fights but I will be styling at country music concerts and dealing blackjack in some local western sites. Nice hat!

tag #000697 Winter scarf
BT,
Your red scarf actually reminds me of one that I have but can't really use right now. The main reason why I need it is that I'm an opera singer, and I live in Chicago, where it's pretty cold. Yours reminds me (but not too strongly) of a scarf I have put up on a shelf that was made for me & given to me by someone very special. My now ex-girlfriend, from whom I learned a lot about life & love, made a red, silk scarf for me that's about 8 feet long. I'm not yet to the point where I feel comfortable wearing it, because I know how badly I hurt her at the end of our relationship, but I know she gave it to me with the intention that I fulfill the vision she saw for my life: singing. Your scarf is the first with any red that I'll wear while I progress to the point of feeling comfortable with hers around my neck.
Ironically, the main reason why I felt our relationship had to end was so that I could be free to pursue music and go somewhere different with my life. Essentially, this scarf will be a tool to help me face my memory of having hurt her and changing both our lives, while painfully at first, for what I believe to be the better in the long run.
Best, Charles
