I love the fact that 8 tracks are obsolete, because they’ll always be uniquely identified with the decade I was born in. Of course, it also means that eventually they’ll be extinct altogether. And this one probably won’t save the species since it already runs a little slow.
Maybe you can use this to start a historical restoration society for relics of pop culture. Or maybe I should stop turning cheap stereo equipment into a symbol of my own mortality.
