London Briar pipe

During the summer of ’96, I had an internship at D’acy, Marius, Benton & Bowles in St. Louis. They gave me a stipend of $10 a day for lunch and let me pretend I was a real copywriter.
Once a week or so, I'd blow my lunch money at the riverboat casino near the arch. The one time I came out ahead, I spent my winnings on this pipe. I thought it would wean me off cigarettes and make me feel more literary. I was half right.
So if you buy it, I’ll throw in a couple of the bad poems I wrote that summer while puffing away.
